Paul Mitton

Paul Mitton joined Bertoli Mitchell in 2003 from Ernst & Young LLP where he had been Director of E-Business, a business advisory group focused on the financial services market. Prior to this he was Chief Operating Officer of Businesstravellor.com/investoraccess.com, Director of Business Development at Euromoney for seven years, and Investment Manager at ECI Ventures.

Paul has a track record of successfully completing a broad range of joint ventures/alliances, acquisitions, disposals and start-ups over the last fifteen years ranging in size from £500,000 to £90 million. Notable among these were the successful completion of a 100% interest in Institutional Investor Inc. from Walt Disney for $142 million, and the completion of an 80% interest in Internet Securities, Inc. for £30 million, both on behalf of Euromoney; as well the successful of management buy-out of Richmond Events from EMAP plc on behalf of ECI Ventures.

Educated at Stirling University and Georgetown University (USA), Paul holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in London.
