Our client is an international not-for-profit organisation that is considering a charge on some of its major database assets as security against liabilities, and requires an opinion on value.
The detailed project design was established with our client right from the outset, delivering open sharing of information and strong collaboration between everyone involved. Rigorous valuation modelling enabled our client to determine which assets to charge and those which did not need to be charged.
As well as serving its original purpose our valuation was designed as a business tool providing strategy advice. Since our first report in 1996 we have been engaged to review and update our modelling and advice once every three years.
