Philip Shaw brings over twenty-five years’ experience in STM, academic, professional and educational publishing. Early roles included Marketing Director and Managing Director of the books and journals portfolios of Butterworth-Heinemann. Philip subsequently became Managing Director of Science and Technology Books at Elsevier, and was latterly Managing Director of Health Sciences, Higher and Further Education at Hodder. In these various posts he has managed business purchases and divestments, as well as playing leading roles in high-profile innovative digital projects.
Philip has a first-class honours degree in History from Cambridge and an MBA from Cranfield.
