John Peters was Director, then CEO of Emerald Publishing, before leaving to set up GSE Research, a specialist publisher in sustainable development. GSE raised capital in several funding rounds, and made acquisitions, before selling to Taylor & Francis in 2017. He joined Bertoli Mitchell in 2018.
He is a graduate of Manchester University, and has a Bradford School of Management MBA. He worked in consultancy, management development and academia, before entering into publishing in 1999.
